The telefilmParul Konyais a saga of oppression. The victims are a girl named Parul and her husband Kodom who works inSardar Bari. One day Kodom has an accident while working in the field and suffers a leg injury. Thesardar(the village head) pays no heed to the plight of Kodom. However, thesardar'sson, a university student, comes forward to help Kodom --but it is too late. The distraught Parul holds thesardarresponsible for her husband's death. In disgust she leaves thesardar'shouse even though she has nowhere to go.The main actors in Parul Konya are Pijush Bandyopadyay, Azizul Hakim and Tania. The director is S A Haque Alik.
