Patar Bhela Bhashai -- Ila's album of Tagore song

In her welcoming speech, Luva Nahid Chowdhury, director of Bengal Foundation, said, "Bengal Foundation supports promising and quality singers through releasing their albums. Patar Bhela Bhashai is the 81st album produced by Bengal Foundation. Shahnaz Nasrin Ila's solo album is our 35th production of Tagore songs."

Chief guest Dr Anisuzzaman said, "After training in music in Bangladesh, Shahnaz Nasrin Ila received further education in Tagore songs from Maya Sen at Bishwabharati University, India. Her album includes spiritual and love songs of Rabindranath Tagore."

After the launching ceremony, Ila rendered all of the 11 songs of the album and three other songs. She started with the devotional song Danrao mono ananto brahmando majhe. The audience seemed moved by Ila's performance during the rendition of the stave of sentimental peace Taar hathey chhilo. Her voice modulation in this song and in the devotional piece Prachanda garjane was really enjoyable.
