'Positive attitude in life is important'-- Shakila

fashion then and now
Modern girls are so fashion conscious that almost everybody goes to a parlour for skin and hair care. And what makes me feel good is that even the mothers encourage their daughters to go to beauty parlours. Age is no barrier and now we see that elderly women in their 50s or 60s often take professional help at the parlours. The modern technology offers many choices to these beauty conscious women. Beauty kits are available and within the reach of people.
say yes to herbal care
Herbal make up is the 'in' thing now. Like all other trendy people I am also addicted towards herbal products. Henna, uptan, neem oil, honey are the bounties of nature which keeps your skin tingling. I believe that if one wants to be beautiful one must work on it. The most important thing to me is however, a positive attitude in life.
trendy attire
I don't know whether I am fashionable, but I always try to keep in shape and wear beautiful and tasteful attire. I wear all type of clothes both Western and Oriental. But I always try to match my attire with my personality. Cotton or handloom saris with gorgeous blouses are my all time favourites. Besides, I go for Kanchivaram, French chiffon and the handloom saris with big and colourful borders.

Fashion is something that changes with time. I do remember that bell-bottom trousers with short Kamiz and Churidar Orna was the 'in' thing during our college days. These styles have come back in a polished way. But one thing which bothers me is that an element of vulgarity has been introduced with these modern styles and fashion.
