Positive Negative: A venture of UAP Students

Positive Negative, an exhibition organised by the level-1 term-2 architecture students of the University of Asia Pacific (UAP), showcases first year student projects. Named after the final project, the exhibition deals with the duality of space and form. Contrary to popular belief, space is not treated as a byproduct of form here, but rather as an equal participator in the overall scheme of the design process.

The exhibition was inaugurated by eminent architect Bashirul Huq and Professor Shamsul Wares (UAP) recently. Among others, architect Rafiq Azam and painter Shishir Bhattacharya were also present at the inauguration session.

Twenty students participated in the design process along with their studio critics Naushad E. Huq and Nayara N. Islam. The exhibition is open for all till May 30.
