Premiere show of documentary 'Child Struggle'

The premiere show ofChild Struggle, a documentary video was held on April 27 at the Estee Centre, Elephant Road, says a press release. A Rising Sun production, the story revolves around a 10- year-old boy Mizan, who ferries people across the river Bongshai which comes down from the Assam Hilltracts, dividing his village Loshkorpur and Chalasorai. This is the only way that Mizan can keep himself and his mother alive.

Often due to poverty, he cannot afford good quality food. One day, after a meal, Mizan suffers an attack of diarrhea. Despite the fact that his mother takes him to the hospital, Mizan never returns alive.
