A rare document of our political history

National Professor Kabir Chowdhury formally inaugurated the book.
The author writes in the preface to the book, 'I have not tried to write any autobiography or history, but the book depicts many of the incidents in my life as well as some important events of the history of our country like the Language Movement of '52, Six Agendas of '66, Mass Uprising of '69, Non-Cooperation Movement of '70 and finally the glorious Liberation War.'
The descriptions of these events are enchanting. The language is non-ornamental, easy and smooth.
Celebrated writer Shahriar Kabir said, 'We are passing through a difficult time in our social and political life. Apart from altering the history, communal tortures, homicide, arrest, termination and blacklisting of freedom fighters and the progressive cultural people have become commonplace now.' He said that all the progressive and pro-Liberation War activists should work together to change this situation.
Professor Anisuzzaman, Awami League leader Tofayel Ahmed, Communist leader Hasanul Haque Inu, Golum Mohiuddin, publisher of Agamee Osman Gani, Golam Kiddus, Dr. Sufi A Rahman, Mahbub Selim and others also spoke on the occasion.
