Performers from Boikuntha Abritti Academy and Songbrita Abritti Charcha O Bikash Kendra of Dhaka, Tritaranga of Chittagong, Mabhoi Abritti Sangsad of Sylhet and Abritti Sangsad of Feni participated in the programme. Poems of Rabindranath Tagore, Sukanta Bhattacharya, Shamsur Rahman, Nirmolendu Guun, Mahadev Saha, Rafiq Azad, Abul Hasan, Joy Goswami and Purnendu Potri were rendered.

Poet Rabiul Hossain spoke at the programme. Rupa Chakrabarti presided over the event. Speakers reacting to the verdict on the Jessore Udichi blast case demanded reinvestigation during their speeches.
