Riya's new ventures

Riya has also completed her new TV commercial of a hair dye recently. Scripted and directed by Ankur, the commercial will go on air from next Tuesday. The English jingle of the commercial is also written by the director and the shooting has been done at different venues like Bashundhara City and Airport Road.

Deepa completes two serials
Popular small screen actress Deepa Khondokar has completed her two 13-episode TV serials recently. Under the banner of Machhranga, serial Rokkhakoti also features Zahid Hassan, Dilara Zaman, Masud Ali Khan, Shahiduzzaman Selim, Intekhab Dinar, Tazin Ahmed and Fazlur Rahman Babu. This is the story of the turmoil into which a zamindar family is thrown when the head of the family passes away. The sons and daughters-in-law of the late zamindar begin to fight and maneuver to grab the riches that is left. The shooting of the play has been done in Bengal Studio. Written by Sohel Haque and directed by Taher Shipon, the play will be aired soon on ntv.

The second serial that Deepa acted in is Choitali Jochhonay Eka Meyeta. The unusual story revolves around the sufferings of a young couple when two elderly people have a laugh at their expense, going so far as to say that the young man would commit suicide. The spots for this serial were Jahangirnagar University Campus, Uttara and Kaliakoir.
