Round up of 'Closeup1' auditions in Dhaka

About 29,000 applicants auditioned for eight days (August 13 to 20). The singers showed up, all willing to do their best to be the next youth icon of Bangladesh. They all sang their hearts out, without the help of any instruments. So far, 195 people received 'Yes Card' from several panels of judges.

On August 18, the selection round also took place at the same venue and it will continue till August 21.

The audition and selection rounds have already been carried out at Chittagong, Comilla, Faridpur, Barisal, Khulna, Rajshahi, Rangpur, Bogra, Mymensingh and Sylhet.

Selected candidates will take part in the subsequent rounds, which will be held in Dhaka. This year, non-resident Bangladeshis can also take part in the programme.
