The story line: A philanthropist and zamindar of the Bhawal estate, the central character is fondly known as Raja among his people. However, he falls prey to a conspiracy involving his own wife. The story then takes an unexpected turn when years later, while people take him to be dead, Raja returns to the estate as a Sannyasi (monk).

Jayanta Chatterjee plays the protagonist. He is backed up by Moushumi, Manosh Benarjee, Shamu Chowdhury, Khairul Alam Shobuj, Momena Chowdhury and others.
