Runa and Sabina team up for the first time
Though Runa Laila and Sabina Yasmin performed together for quite a few playbacks, this is their first appearance together on small screen. "A similar plan was taken by Arif Khan eight years back. But that didn't follow through," said Sabina. "Lot of effort has been put together in the production," says Runa.
In Antorotoro Aj Gaaner Bhubon, Runa and Sabina will render 10 songs; five of them are new and the rest are popular songs. Runa and Sabina will sing four solos each and two duets.

'Batasher Khancha' on Channel i
Channel i offers viewers a telefilm written by noted writer Mohammed Zafar Iqbal for this Eid. With an unusual and witty title, Batasher Khancha, the play depicts the story of Shahed, who is brought up in an affluent family. One day his father tells him to earn his own living for one day so that he can better empathise with hard reality of the impoverished. Accepting the challenge, Shahed makes all possible attempts but fails.
At the end of the day, an exhausted Shahed goes to a park for a breather. In the park, he meets an intelligent and attractive girl named Neera and an unexplored world opens up before him.
The cast of the play includes Aly Zaker, Rumana Malik Munmun ( Lux-Channel-i '06 finalist), Eresh Zaker (Son of Aly Zaker) and Suprobha . Directed by Golam Hyder Kislu, the special TV play will be aired on the fourth day of Eid at 2:30pm.
