On August 16, Nusrat Mumtaz Ruposhi presented her solo violin evening in memoriam of her mother Alpona Mumtaz, the famous dancer of the country. Six dancers with illuminatedpradipperformed a dance with the symphony of flute, guitar, rhythm pad and keyboards and Ruposhi added the melancholy tune with her violin. This was followed by Ruposhi's solo violin evening at the National Museum. The title of the first composition wasIn Honour of Alpana Mumtaz.

The title of Ruposhi's second presentation was Emotion. The beauty of nature has been depicted by playing the Yougia raga on violin in the particular composition.

Rhythm of Joy, based on raga Kirvani, played by Ruposhi was an enjoyable piece. Through the symphony she has presented the transformation from pathos to joy.

Later, she played a Gujarati folk tune on her violin. With the dhun of bansi and typical Gujarati rhythm, Ruposhi created the rural festive ambience of Gujarat in her presentation.

Then followed other compositions: Bodhu Biday, Flying Wind and Lost in Love.

The final presentation of the evening was The New Era, based on Irish band The Corrs's composition Music- Laugh Erin Shore. This was a group presentation by Ruposhi and her students.

In between her compositions, she was greeted by her admirers.
