A special court today exempted 86 accused till February 9, including Bollywood star Sanjay Dutt, from appearance in the 1993 bomb blast case, and allowed the actor to visit various places within the country for film shootings.

On a plea made by lawyer Farhana Shah, the court allowed Sanjay to visit various places to shoot for nine films including Zinda, Deewar, Vande Mataram 1971 and Ayodhya.

However, the Judge directed him to file a detailed programme of his visit with the registrar before he left the city and ensure that he was represented by a lawyer during his absence in the court.
