A satire on the contemporary social structure

Mujibur Rahman Dilu has adapted German drama legend Bertolt Brecht'sThe Threepenny Operato the Bangladeshi context. The play satirises the contemporary social structure of Bangladesh, where the bourgeois, criminals and policemen are in collusion and perpetrate evil.

Today, as part of the ongoing drama festival arranged by Nagorik Natyangan, the group presents Janotar Rangoshala, directed by Dr Inamul Haque at the National Theatre Stage.

Mahmudul Islam Selim designs the set while Tariq Mahbub Rousseau designs the light of Janotar Rangoshala.

Dr. Inamul Haque, Sajjad Reza, Hridi Haque and others perform in the play.
