After a remarkable success withDipu Number 2, Bubuner BabaandHatkata Robin, another story of eminent litterateur Muhammad Zafar Iqbal is coming on the small screen. Director Khalid Mahmud Mithu has made Zafar Iqbal's famous adventure story T-RexerShandhaney(In Search of T-Rex) into a drama serial for ATN Bangla. The first episode of the drama will be aired today at 8:15 pm.

The story involves three teen-aged boys--Topon, Raju and Khaled, who are cousins. Among them Khaled has just come to Bangladesh from the US to learn about the culture and history of his grandfather's country. The boys are always kept under strict control by the elders of the house. The list includes Topon's uncle who is extremely miser and considers children mischievous. There are also Raju's mother--a very hot tempered woman, and his uncle who is idle and very nasty. The family has another member--Chandu Chacha who thinks himself very important. Only the youngest uncle of these three youth seems to them a normal human being.

Before Khaled arrives, Raju and Topon are driven out from the house because they also tried to participate along with other members in the discussion about Khaled's visit. There is no trace of the two boys since then. Everyone in the family gets extremely tensed. What happens to the two? At such a time comes a stranger!

The drama serial has been made with production support from Global Media. The different characters have been portrayed by Abul Hayat, Abdul Kader, Saleh Ahmed, Shahidul Alam Sachchu, Shirin Bakul, Bappa Raj, Somu Chowdhury and others. Arjo Sreshtho, Utsha Aziz and Ozzy portray the roles of the three boys Topon, Raju and Khaled.
