The 52-episode serial revolves around the story of a mother and a son. Shirin sends her son Akash to America for higher studies and wants him to be successful. Shirin runs the family business, because Shirin's husband, Muhitul Islam is alcoholic and spends more time with his friends. When Akash returns 10 years later, Shirin discovers her son has been Americanised.
