The Adivasi cultural festival has been organised by the Society for Environment and Human Development (SEHD) with assistance from 21 Adivasi cultural groups and non-governmental organisations. "The festival is an assembly of Adivasis and others. It is also a celebration of life and cultural diversity," says the SEHD brochure. Through cultural insights into the Adivasi ways of life, the masses will have a better understanding of these indigenous people.
