Small talk with Shojol

Talking further about this popular series, shot at the Jahangirnagar University campus, Shojol describes the moments spent with his co-actors during shooting. 'We hardly ever did anything we were asked to do by the director. We were asked to act and say our lines as per the script. Instead, we would just end up cracking up or making fun of each other in a bizarre way! That moment would always be captured on camera, of a bunch of youngsters, just freaking out and having fun.'

A BBA graduate from Jahangirnagar University, Shojol gained popularity as a pleasant speaker and a performer, as an anchor in Virgin Takdum Takdum on ETV. The closing down of the channel fortunately did not hamper his career. Rather, he has been seen on several TV advertisements, like Upper 10, Cute Shampoo, Johnny Style and also several drama series like Rupkotha on Channel I, Pothe Pothe and many more. He is also planning a few 'flicks' in the near future.

'My family was never really into cultural activities or any kind of performances as such' he exclaimed. 'My father was a little annoyed at my activities initially. But now he is okay with whatever I am doing. In fact, I think I have come this far only because of the support that my family has provided all through out,' adds a smiling Shojol.
