Spark the fashion flame

One of the long standing apparel stores in the city is Spark Gear. Located at a prime spot  by Gulshan Avenue, Spark Gear can easily pass as a one-stop-shop, per se. Of course, you have seen it numerous times while you have been stuck at the horrible Gulshan-1 round-about signal, but if you have not visited it even once, now is when you rectify your mistake. 

Do not let the narrow staircase to the store deceive you, and even if you do, you are in for a surprise. Spark Gear has a cosmetics counter, where you will find the most popular brands, starting from shampoos to lipsticks to body mists, chances of you getting what you want are fairly high.

As you move on to the clothing section, you will find yourself become more hopeful. The neatly organised showroom is also brightly lit, with plenty of room for you to move back and forth with ease even on a busy day.  

Once you know what you are looking for and you are guided to the respective aisle, you will find things to be exactly where they are supposed to be.

Spark Gear sells export quality goods at a reasonable price. Keeping consistent with the latest trends globally, you will also find a couple of pieces that incorporate the local fashion mantras. Might I add, the range of sizes is also impressive. 

Men, women and children have separate sections. Be it casual slacks you are looking for or formal pants, or even shirts, T-shirts or crop tops- you will not be disappointed. As winter is just kicking in, they have a huge collection of hoodies, cardigans and dinner jackets for both men and women.  If you want to accessorise your outfit, they also have some nice belts to choose from. 

As if this already did not seem too good to be true, Spark Gear also has a separate section for bags and shoes. Starting from wallets to clutches to hand bags or shoulder bags, you will find they hold quite a tasteful collection. Same can be said for shoes; flip-flops to wedge sandals to platforms, you name it.

Since the floor space is quite large, I suggest you take some time to explore the entire store if it is your first time. Also, do not go in with any preconceived notions. In case you need some more convincing, visit spark gear as soon as possible.
