Special TV programmes on Victory Day

Tony Dayes will perform in a play titled Janom

The channel will begin airing special programmes from December 16, morning. At 7:30 am in a musical programme, eminent singers Farida Parveen, Shahnaz Rahmatullah, Subir Nandi, Abida Sultana and others will render patriotic songs. The title of the musical programme is 'Selected patriotic songs'.

Another musical programme, titled Hridoye Shodesh, will be aired at 9:05 am. Subir Nandi, Abida Sultana, Fatema Tuz Zohra, Ferdaus Ara and Lily Islam will render songs in the programme.

At 9:35 am the channel will live telecast the Victory Day Parade from the Bangabandhu National Stadium.

On Victory Day, the regular programmes of the channel like Shesh Akkhor and Amra Korbo Joy are also imbued with patriotism.

At 8:00 pm freedom fighters will share their experience in a magazine programme, titled Smritir Aakhore Lekha. Shilpi Moholanobish will host the programme.

Framer Preme Bijoy, a special documentary programme featuring the photographs on the Liberation War, will be aired at 8:30 pm. The pathos, struggles and triumphs of the people are well captured on the frame.

A special Victory Day play, titled Janom, will be aired at 9:00 pm. AD Dulal's play depicts the struggle of a expectant lady named Kalmi. Bijori Barkatullah, Khairul Alam Shabuj, Shirin Alam, Tony Dayes and others perform in the play.

Mukti Juddha O Amader Cholochitra, a documentary, features movies on our Liberation War. Eminent filmmakers of the country will exchange notes on the limitations of making movies on the freedom movement. Mukti Juddha O Amader Cholochitra will be aired at 10:35 pm.
