The Lux Channel i Super Star orientation was held at the Spectra Convention Centre recently, says a press release. A total of 120 participants, selected out of thousands of applicants, were present at the briefing session. The judges of the Super Star search are well-known names such as Subarna Mostafa, Tarek Anam and Shamim Ara Nipa.

The contestants were addressed by DMD-Asiatic MCL Asaduzzaman Noor, general manager Kaniska Chakroborty, managing director of Channel i Faridur Reza Sagar among others.

The contestants were briefed on the programme format and informed of the expectations from them in the contest. Prominent Lux stars Aupee Karim and Kushum Sikder advised them on preparation tips for sucess. Brands& Development director Naushad Chowdhury asserted that this was not simply a beauty contest or talent hunt contest. Rather the contestants would be judged on their overall performance, confidence and stage presence.

Several celebrities from the Bangladesh media world, Bipasha, Reaz, Champa and others encouraged the participants through an exciting audio-visual show. Subsequently queries from the contestants were answered.
