Stars and the festivity

Afroza Banu:
I just got back to the country after spending one and a half months abroad with my son. So I couldn't go shopping. My sisters have taken care of that for me. But I did bring back gifts for my near and dear one's from Canada. I love cooking. I usually do all the cooking on Eid.

Samina Choudhury:
I don't like expensive clothes. I did the rounds of the regular shops but I've done a lot of shopping from the Taantbostro Mela. I bought a few sarees and I really liked the indigenous clothing material as well. I design Punjabis and some of the Punjabis my friends and family received from me have been designed by me.

Jaya-Faisal:
"For us eid shopping means shopping on chaand raat. We have a gala of a time shopping on that night," says Faisal. "Faisal has bought me plenty of clothes. He loves shopping for me and I must admit he has great choice," adds Jaya. "On Eid we visit both our parents' houses and then go to our relatives'."

Sanjida Preeti:
Though I'm a casual dresser usually, on Eid evening I like wearing a saree. When Sanjida spoke about her eid itinerary she had a big smile on her face and just blurted out "sleep". Apart from that hung out with her friends too.

Deeghi:
We went to Bashundhara City and my mother bought me some very pretty dresses. I am pretty busy throughout the year. On Eid I love going to my grandparent's house. I like going for long drives too.
