One & Only Star Search 2003
In order to celebrate the fifth year of Star Search, Benson & Hedges took the winners of the previous year's Star Search contests on a national tour. The grand musical tour began in Sylhet and then went on to Dhaka, Chittagong, Khulna before finally concluding in Bogra. The events were planned as a part of the on-going Benson & Hedges Star Search Contest of 2003, and in addition to show-casing the enormous talent discovered through four successful years of the contest, it was a way of drumming up support and enthusiasm for this year's event.
Star Search is already a well-known platform for discovering unknown musical talent from all corners of the nation. The bands and solo performers who have won titles in the Star Search contest have gone on to gain national stardom and recognition. As a tribute to Star Search, these performers toured the country and performed for the aspiring musicians of tomorrow.
