Tara TV launches a music video on Victory Day
Many writers and poets have waxed eloquent onBijoy Diboshand theMukti Juddhas(Freedom Fighters). Hassan Hafiz is one such poet. Now Tara TV, a pan-Bengali channel based in Kolkata, has produced a music video ofShudhu Bangladesh, which sensitively portrays a short, simple message from the poet, says a press release.
The song, Tomra rokter rongey akash rangiye chiley, pays tribute to the Mukti Juddhas and the soldiers from our neigbouring country who fought together to achieve freedom. The lead singer is Lopamudra Mitra, accompanied by Bangladeshi singers now studying in Rabindra Bharati University, Kolkata. The latter are Arpita, Jhumur Dutta, Sanjay Mandol, Anisur Rahman and Monika Biswas.
The tune of the video was composed by Buddhadeb. On December 16, the video was premiered on all Tara channels. The video will also be launched in Bangladesh by Broadcast Worldwide Ltd (Tara TV) branch office.
