The room Matin arranges for Rupa is furnished in an antique fashion, including a large mirror. At night Rupa suddenly wakes up at a mysterious sound and sees to her horror that the mirror is glittering with light. It doesn't seem to be an inanimate mirror anymore. There seems to be an incorporeal spirit sighing all over the room.
