'Theatre Art Unit has taken up a challenge' --Mamunur Rashid

Mamunur Rashid, the playwright and director, says, 'The National Theatre Stage should have been inaugurated through a grand festival where the leading theatrical groups of the country could participate. However, it was opened in an ordinary manner. The most important factor for a venue is its popularity. I expect Theatre Art Unit's drama festival will attract a larger audience to an international standard venue. Moreover, the theatre activists will also be able to deal with the technical facilities as well as the problems of the theatre hall. By arranging a drama festival in an expensive theatre hall, I think, Theatre Art Unit has taken up a challenge,' added Mamun, the President of Bangladesh Group Theatre Federation (BGTF).
