Theatre festival in Bogra comes to an end
A weeklong 'Inter-district Cute Drama Festival', began on March 23 at the Aminul Haque Dulal Auditorium in Bogra Zilla School premises of the district. Around 18 theatre groups attended the festival to celebrate 25 years of Bogra Theatre. The organisers said the plays are based on facts during the Liberation War, including the historicBanur Pokur Killingin Bogra district where 17 unarmed people were killed by the Pakistani forces.
A colourful rally was brought out, led by well-known theatre artiste Pijush Bandapadhyaya, president of Gram Theatre, Dhaka. The first play to be staged was Koibart Bibro by Bogra Theatre.
