A touch of Norway
Eminent cultural personalities came together at a recent reception in Dhaka, hosted by the Norwegian Ambassador Aud Lise Norheim. Talking about future plans, she announced the centennial celebration of Henrik Ibsen's plays in 2006 in Norway and Bangladesh.
Norway's films were recently screened at the International Film Festival in Dhaka. In the future too there is likely to be a closer cultural link between Bangladesh and Norway in the spheres of films and children's literature, she said.
