In the evening of August 23, the auditorium of Bangladesh Shishu Academy was filled up with the audience to see the production Toray Badha Ghorar Dim--an excellent creation by Satyajit Ray. Tonatuni, a cultural organisation, working mainly for children, staged this admirable nursery rhyme as part of their preparation of its Festival to be held in September.

Satyajit Ray has created an imaginary world in rhymes, where every action is meaningless. Children are the leading spirits where elders also take part. Through this, Ray has drawn the picture of the imbalances in the adult world.

The artistic presentation of Toray Badha Ghorar Dim on stage took the audience into another world. Taposh Sen's excellent

manoeuvering of stage-lighting created a world of fantasy. Along with Ahmed Imtiaz Bulbul's music, Tammana Rahman's dance direction and Kiritee Ranjan Biswas' stage and dress design, Mujibur Rahman Dilu's presentation added a different taste to the production.
