Ongoing TV serial Tushar Rohoshyo,aired on ATN Bangla, has a supernatural angle. The central character, Tushar moves back from US and aims to dedicate himself to social work. However, tragedy strikes and a launch capsize ends his life. In every episode Tushar's restless soul wanders the earth. The series written by Qamrul Huda includes an impressive cast.
Directed by Kazi Jahangir, the serial has different stories based on relevant social problems, featuring over 100 artistes. Every story explores fresh creative techniques.
Talking about the serial, Jahangir says, "Though the serial has different stories, there is room to involve many artistes. I want to convey a strong social message to the audience through the drama serial."
