The programme is intended to popularise the art of interior designing and to help people to modernise their homes.

Grihoshaily comprises of six parts. In Nandipath, an architect or interior designer elaborately discusses the interior design of a house. Srijon Chhande shows how the discarded materials can be used for home design. Prangone mor features the interior of a celebrity's house and he/she talks about the choices of decorative items. Beshati features the price and availability of items for home design. In Pathshala, institutions that offers training on interior design are introduced. In Kothokotha, a guest architect talks about various aspects of home design.
