As the day advances on Ekushey, the Shaheed Minar altar takes on a magnificent look with the combination of alpana and colourful flowers brought by millions who throng the Shaheed Minar to pay their respect. Students of Institute of Fine Arts, Dhaka University, decorate the altar as a tradition.
