A colourful dance recital presented by children

Believing that a proclivity for reading can best be developed in young people through literature, the discussants emphasised on the need for developing school libraries. The keynote paper was presented by children's book author Mokarram Hossain. Veteran journalist Faiz Ahmed was the chief guest while children's book author and educationist Dr Halima Khatun, and Mofidul Haque also spoke on the occasion.

The discussion was followed by a cultural programme comprising poetry recitation, storytelling and dance.
