Based on a story by noted author Rabeya Khatun, the special play is to be aired on December 22. Highlighting the Liberation War, the play features Ferdousi Majumder and others. Shurjo Othar Agey has been directed by Gazi Rakayet.
Nine Months to Freedom

A special documentary programme on the refuge camps set up at the no man's land (Bangladesh-India border) during our Liberation War, will be aired today at 2:00pm. The documentary depicts the plight of eight lakh Bengali refugees. Filming of the documentary began in 1971. The documentary was previously known as Shokunder Bochhor.
Jonmo Amar Dhonno Holo

Featuring songs on Liberation War, a special dance programme will be aired at 11:10pm on December 16. The programme is produced by Ananya Ruma.
Lux Channel i Performance Award 2005

It was a memorable evening on November 17 when the Lux Channel i Performance Award (LCPA) '05 was held at the Sharjah Cricket Association Stadium culminating with a glittering cultural event. More than 45,000 spectators attended the award giving ceremony.

Among the artistes who took part in the programme were: Razzak, Sabina Yasmeen, Syed Abdul Hadi, Momotaj, Azam Khan, Subir Nandi, Ayub Bachchu, Kumar Bishwajit, Ferdous Wahid, Riaz, Purnima, SI Tutul, Tania Ahmed, Salauddin Lavlu, Ishita, Tisha, Srabonti, Kusum Sikder, Mir Sabbir, Monalisa, Hyder Hossain, Monalisa, Mehrin and others.

The recorded version of the event will be aired at 1:15pm on Victory Day.
Eito Amader Bari

Based on a story by Faridur Reza Sagar, a special two episode TV play will be aired on Victory Day at 7:50pm. The play features Litu Anam, Ishita and others in major roles. Popular film actress Moushumi does a cameo in the play.
Hridoye Mati O Manush

A special episode of Hridoye Mati O Manush, tiled Farmer's File-1 will be aired on Victory Day at 9:35pm. The documentary programme on contemporary agro-economics and development, has attracted thousands of viewers. The episode will feature the contribution of the farmers during our Liberation War.
Muktijuddher Shei Dinguli

Featuring reminiscences by freedom fighters, a special talk show will be aired at 10:00 pm on Victory Day. Eminent theatre activist Nasiruddin Youssuf will host the show. Sadek Hossain Khoka, Golam Dastagir Gazi Bir Protik, Mofazzal Hossain Maya will take part in the discussion.
