What to watch on Eid

Written and directed by popular litterateur Humayun Ahmed, this feature film is another production of Impress Tele Films. The cast is typical of Humayun Ahmed which includes Humayun Fareedi, Shimul, Shawn, Riaz, Swadhin, Syed Akhtar Ali, Tania Ahmed, Ahmed Rubel, Ejazul Islam, Faruque Ahmed, Shamima Nazneen, Jesmine Parvez and others. The story revolves around the sufferings of the war-ravaged people of Bangladesh. The film will be screened on Eid-day at 3:00pm. The story begins with the refugees fleeing towards the border on a boat. Pitambar and his blind father and grandmother, Karim with his daughter-in-law Ratri, Fuli with her mother, Mowlana Munshi Muslem and his wife Begum and Gourango with his mother and wife are the passengers on board. The boatmen are taking them to a safe place away from the fierce claws of war. All the people on board are devastated with the horror of war and are the victims of the war. As the story advances, different events unravel.
