1 killed in road accident
A person was killed and five others were injured in a road accident at Dhaperhat on Bogra-Rangpur highway in the early hours of yesterday.
Witnesses said the victim Badsha Mia, 50, of village Madergnj under Pirganj Upazila was crossing the road when a speedy truck dashed him from behind.
As he fell down on the road, another microbus crashed him under the wheel and dashed another rickshaw van that had six passengers on board.
