10 business establishments gutted in Habiganj
At least 10 business establishments were gutted by a devastating fire in Khoaimukh area of the district town in the early hours of yesterday.
Fire service sources said the fire originated from a poultry farm at about 2:00am and soon engulfed the adjoining poultry farm, studio, rod cement shop and six stationery shops.
Fire fighters doused the blaze after two hours of hectic efforts with the help of local people. Five people were injured while extinguishing the fire.
