10 CU BCL men get bail
The High Court on Monday granted ad-interim bail to ten leaders of Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL), Chittagong University unit, including its president and a central leader.
The High Court Bench comprising Justice Sheikh Rezwan Ali and Justice Sheikh Abdul Awal granted them ad-interim bail for six months.
Hathazari Police filed a case against 19 BCL activists, including the ten, on charge of damaging a university bus during an intra-party clash on August 30 on the Chittagong-Rangamati Road near CU campus.

Later, the BCL activists filed a petition to the High Court seeking bail.
The BCL activists, who got bail, are central leader Shahidul Kawser, CU unit President Kazi Mazharul Islam, Vice President Sanwara Hossain, Goutam Palit, Joynal Anden, Mohammed Yakub, Razib Haider Milton, Jahid Ur Rashid, Selim Reza and Ataur Rahman Monju.
