10 hurt in BNP factional clash in Chandpur
Ten people were injured and two BNP election camps damaged during a factional clash of the party at Sholaghar in the town yesterday.
Police said the clash between the supporters of BNP leaders SK Farid Ahmed Manik and SA Sultan Titu broke out in the afternoon over their nomination for next month's parliamentary polls from Chandpur-4.
Two of the injured, M Eran, 30, and Delwar Gazi, 28, were admitted to Sadar hospital in critical condition.
