10 released on bail

Md Ismail Hossain, first class magistrate of Jhalakathi, granted their bail on condition of appearing before the court every working day.

Of the arrestees, Maulana Abdul Mannan, superintendent of Kutubnagar Madrasa, was granted bail on Monday while Ripon Mallik, Kamal Hossain, Hafizul Islam, Abul Kalam, Shahidul Islam, Majedul Islam, Shaheed Khan, Sameer and Bachchu were enlarged on bail on Sunday.

Two judges were killed in a suicide bomb attack by the JMB, an outlawed militant outfit, on November 14.

Police detained 10 people from Krishnakathi area the same day and Maulana Abdul Mannan on November 15 in connection with the bomb attack.
