10 shops gutted, properties worth Tk 15 lakh damaged in Sylhet
At least 10 shops were gutted and properties worth about Tk 15 lakh damaged in a fire at a market at the city's Shahi Eidgah area yesterday.
The fire originated from the short circuit of a shop in the market spread to the adjacent shops slowly.
The fire service personnel reached the spot at about 12:00 noon and tried to bring the fire under control from further spreading.
