15 houses gutted in Comilla
Fifteen houses were gutted in a fire at Kaptan Bazar in Comilla in the early hours of yesterday.
Police said the fire originated from an oven at the house of Masud at about 3:00am and soon engulfed the nearby houses.
Receiving information, fire fighters rushed to the scene and extinguished the blaze after a struggle for one and a half hours.
