15 illegal structures bulldozed in Ctg
A mobile court here yesterday bulldozed at least 15 illegal structures including a century-old sweetmeat house at Nandankanan area under Kotwali Police Station.
The structures had long been under illegal occupation and the owners had ignored several notices issued by the Chittagong Development Authority (CDA) to vacate them, sources said.
The last notice was served about four months back by Tehara Ferdous, first class magistrate of CDA, who conducted the daylong eviction drive, but it was also ignored by illegal occupants.

The structures included Bose Brothers, a reputed sweetmeat house built in 1921.
