2 construction workers killed in accidents
Two construction workers died in separate incidents while working at construction sites in the city yesterday.
Md Rana, 22, was working in a five-storied under-construction building at Road No.-5, DOHS, Mohakhali, in the morning, but he suddenly fell from the roof.
He was rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) where the doctors declared him dead.
For all latest news, follow The Daily Star's Google News channel. In the other incident, Md Rashed, 20, was engaged in piling work at an construction site at Bashundhara in Badda and all of a sudden a pile of iron rods fell on him.
He was rushed to the DMCH but died soon after he reached there.
