2 held with 593 forged notes
Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) arrested two fake note traders with 593 forged notes of Tk 50 denomination from city's West Malibagh area on Friday.
The arrestees were Alok Kurbi, 42, and Sobhan, 40, of Haluaghat thana in Mymensingh district.
Acting on a tip-off, a special team of Rab-2 raided the area at around 6:00pm and nabbed the criminals with the forged notes, says a Rab press release.
