2 women killed in road accident
Two women were killed when a speeding micro-bus hit a tempo at Khariala Bus Stand on Dhaka - Sylhet highway under Sadar Upazila on Sunday night.
The dead were identified as Zayeda Khatun,70, and Sarifa Khatun,60, of Khariala.
Witnesses and hospital sources said Zayeda and Sarifa were standing on the roadside at Khariala Bus Stand. A Sylhet-bound microbus from Dhaka hit a tempo leaving the two women seriously injured.
