20 meat traders sued
A mobile court in a drive yesterday filed cases against 20 unscrupulous traders for selling buffalo meat in the name of beef in different city markets.
The court led by Magistrate Rokan Ud Doulah conducted the drive at 4.30am and unearthed around one hundred slaughtered buffaloes at Kaptan Bazar.
The employees of the traders were caught while they were slaughtering the buffaloes.
