20 tonnes of adulterated food seized in Ctg
A mobile court has seized around 20 tonnes of adulterated food items including 336 sacks of date-expired milk powder in the city.
Chittagong Port Authority (CPA) Magistrate Mohammad Munir Chowdhury led the anti-adulteration drive with the help of Chittagong Metropolitan Police and Bangladesh Standard Testing Institute.
During the drive at 10 godowns in Chaktai on Sunday, one of the traditional business hubs of the city, the court seized 20 tonnes of adulterated food items.
