3 die in Comilla road accident

According to the police the accident occurred at about 7:30am when a Chittagong-bound bus of Starline Paribahan from Dhaka fell into a roadside ditch while trying to give side to a bicycle near Harikhola area, leaving two bus passengers and the bicycle rider dead on the spot.

The deceased were identified as bicycle rider Md Arif, 20, of Tatara village under Chandina upazila, Abdur Rouf, 28, bus supervisor and Md Ripon, 30, of Chittagong.

The injured were rushed to different clinics and hospitals at Chandina and Comilla while the bodies were sent to Comilla Medical Collage Hospital morgue.
