4 killed in road accidents
Our correspondent in Sirajganj reports: A collision between two buses on Dhaka-Bogra highway in Sayedabad area left one person dead at noon.
Mofazzal Hossain, 45, died on the spot and 10 people were injured in the collision as a passenger bus hit another bus from behind, police and witnesses said.

In another incident, a minibus skidded off the road and fell into a roadside ditch on Bogra-Nagarbari highway at Garadaho in the morning, leaving one person dead and seven others injured.
The dead was identified as Torab Ali, 40, of Bashail village in Raiganj.
Badsha Mian, 35, a labourer, was killed in another road accident in Hardpoint area near the bank of the Jamuna in the afternoon.
He died after he fell onto the road from a speeding truck.
Our correspondent in Gaibandha reports: A truck helper was killed and five others were injured when a cement-laden truck skidded off the road and fell into a roadside ditch near Youth Development Complex on Palashbari-Gaibandha highway.
The driver of the truck lost control over the steering while giving side to another vehicle coming from the opposite direction.
Mokhlesur Rahman, 42, died on the spot. The driver managed to flee.
